It's been a while!
I've recently lost 20 pounds and lowered my BMI from the obese category! I've been working out every other day and following a pretty strict diet plan, eliminating sugar and some other unnecessary stuff. Plenty of water and fiber have been a great part of the success this time.
It's been rough, but getting healthy is still my goal. The more weight that I get off of this hip, the better off I am.
I will post more updates and some smoothie recipes very soon. I haven't forgotten about you!

Finishing a chapter and Starting a new one
I'm just a few steps away from finishing up a chapter in my life and opening up a new one. Forgive me for being gone so long. My life will likely be very cluttered in the next few weeks. Happy to see the new changes but not necessarily prepared for them!
So, what better way to celebrate change than to highlight the color Green?! It's fresh, calming and symbolizes growth. (plus, I'm out of pictures this week!)

Another Unique Smoothie Combination
This morning my fruit/veggie smoothie consisted of:
2 fresh peaches
half a cup of frozen cherries
half of a fresh banana
1 cup of spinach ( I like to freeze fresh organic so that my smoothie is cold and icy )
two small pieces of fresh ginger root
a few small basil leaves
1 scoop of Super Green Powder (Trader Joes)
1 cup unsweetened Almond milk (chilled)
1 cup of alkaline water
IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD and a real energy booster for my lowered immune system.

Raised on Kangen water
It's one thing to wash a store bought tomato in Enagic's 11.5 and being surprised by the rich taste. It's another thing to raise up your own batch of home grown tomatoes that are watered each day with hexagonal 9.5, rich in nutrients and anti-oxidants!
The end result: an Unmatched, Rich, Fresh Taste!
Gotta Love it.
